FILM POSTER - HUNT FOR A KILLER

For our first task using photoshop and and designing and creating posters, we were told to design a poster fro any genre of film using different aspects from other fim posters. the background for this is from 'the blair witch project', with the title on top of this, i feel it creates a subtle but good effect. The sillouete of the man is from 'the exorcist', the way that there is no colour other than black and white creates a strong effect and stands out well in front of the background. FILM POSTER - TREES

for one of our first tasks we were given a fim title for a horror and a tag line. we were told to come up with our own designs for it. I took my own photos, except the blood splats which i got off the internet. This really helped to get a better understanding of the use of digital cameras. i got a simple woodland scene and then messed around with the colouring to get this effect. I also altered the brightness to get this dark effect.
